The Vision of CGNW
The Vision for a long lasting solution is to maintain healthy ecosystems that coexist with healthy economic and social systems. For the Vision to be achievable, it must be socially realistic, biologically defensible and in concert with natural laws.
Socially realistic means that dramatic social changes such as the abandonment of the region to create "natural changes", cannot and will not occur.
Biologically defensible means that resource management will provide for sustainable ecosystems.
In concert with natural laws means that natural phenomena such as fires and windstorms are inevitable, although their effects can be mitigated.
